          |     10 Reasons To Vote Democrat

                  10. I vote Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I may want to marry a pet dolphin or maybe a throuple would be better than a straight couple.
 9. I vote Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene while the government taxing the same gallon at 15% isn’t.

 8. I vote Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending my money than I will.

 7. I vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as no one is offended.

 6. I vote Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, knowing local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves while the 911 service will get them to my home in time to identify the dead.

 5. I vote Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of American babies being aborted so long as we keep all those death row inmates comfy and captured terrorists on tennis courts.

 4. I vote Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits, not concerned if other Americans have trouble enrolling.

 3. I vote Democrat because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves, knowing "They didn't build that." Instead businesses need to only break even and then give the rest away to the government for redistribution to others . . . by others who never earned it.

 2. I vote Democrat because I believe liberal Supreme Court judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit progressive kooks.
 1. And I vote Democrat because I think it's better topay billions for oil to people who hate and want to bomb us then drill on our own land because it might offend an endangered beetle, gopher, fish, or frog.

              | While The Above Pokes Fun At Society, What About The Underlying Message Of Changing Values? Consider this . . .

At 72, being around the block a few times, this humorous social comment from a game show seems innocent enough at first.  In fact one might even dare to call it the least of our problems, perfectly illustrating the slow change to what's become acceptable values for our grass roots . . . the belly of what runs a country. Yet without this small change we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today, would we, society climbing one small step at a time until it’s almost reached the top of 100% change.   That change has led a strong nation of people not wanting anything from the government to a weak nation of people wanting everything from government, with the party that passes out the money finding themselves always the winner in an election.   I suspect it's why Plato's warning from 2,400 years ago keeps haunting us today, history a no nonsense teacher.  He believed that no successful democracy could ever survive and that you would know yours had reached that point if puppy dogs were seen to be standing up on their hind legs demanding their freedoms, too.   We have almost made it to self-destruction when politicians reward self-achievement and success with a pointing finger, "Hey, You didn’t build that!”  The grass roots elected Obama in 2008 and they’re ready to elected Elizabeth Warren in 2016.  Remember what Obama said, then Warren repeating it, reflecting the mentality of a Marxist collective? Columbia’s Teachers College is the one that has been sending educators out across the nation for well over a decade that self-achievement makes others feel bad, and why at times cum laude graduates in high school have been forced to remove their tassel of achievement so others “would not be offended.” - Webmaster    |
