Dear Conservative Reader:

The most dangerous trade agreement in history is almost ready to be presented to the Senate for confirmation. That is, the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). To facilitate it, President Obama has requested the Senate to reauthorize the "Trade Promotion Authority", otherwise known as Fast Track legislation, that permits passage of TPP with a simple 51% vote, no amendments and with hardly any debate. Meanwhile, TPP is being negotiated in TOTAL SECRECY by global corporations and if passed, it will strip our nation of remaining economic and political sovereignty.

However, without Fast Track, the TPP doesn't have much chance at passage, and so, we must block Fast Track before it can be used to pass TPP. You might not like me telling you this, but Republicans are more likely to vote FOR Fast Track than Democrats. Thus, with more Republicans in the Senate, we have to work extra hard to educate them on why Fast Track and TPP would be disastrous for America.
